Wisconsin Fish Fry!
On Friday, after Richard’s mom, Cindy, picked up her sister, Brenda, at the airport, we all went out for a Wisconsin tradition, a fish fry. Everyone was there except Becky’s husband. He’s a police officer and had to work that night. We had to wait an hour for our table so we sat outside at the “tiki bar”, right on Lake Michigan. The weather was very pleasant. At dinner, Chris got stuck at the end of the table but he and Max had a good time together.

We later went back to Cindy’s house. The other adults sat outside while Cindy and I watched the little ones while they played downstairs.

Hi there.
I have to respond to all your Wisconsin trip posts. I get the Writer’s Weekly e-newsletter and am thankful for that service. I live about 1/2 hour west of Milwaukee, my husband works in Racine and it made me laugh all your funny notes about things we take for granted. Glad you had fun! It’s a good state and we love it here. I’m a homegrown farm girl myself. Take care and thanks again!

Escape to Wisconsin! I grew up there and miss the Central Wisconsin State Fair and fish fries. They say that they have them in Lake Conroe, TX, but I have trouble explaining walleye to people here.
Am planning to take my own road trip to Wisconsin, Indiana, and Ohio in mid September. Hope to see some fall color.
