When we first reviewed this campground last summer, we didn’t have a lot of experience with other campgrounds yet. If we had, we’d have given Lake George Escape a five-marshmallow rating from the start.
This is a great, family-oriented campground. It has all the ammenities you’d expect from a high-end, family-friendly RV resort. Hourly, planned activities for the kids means they are exhausted and smiling each night.
Linkspot provides the WiFi, so it is good and park-wide.
Lake George Village, which is the local tourist trap, is nine miles to the South. The campground offers a shuttle service for those who don’t have a car or would rather not drive.
But there is not really even a need to leave - as the campground has two fully-stocked stores, a poolside bar, and a full-service restaurant.
We loved this place so much, we even stayed an extra night.
