Hickory Hill is a spacous, clean campground right on the edge of the Keuka wine region. The surrounding countryside is full of mountains and trees.
We picked this campground not only for the WiFi, but because of its location to the Keuka vinyards. We’d planned to take the kids of on a tour of a local winery, but unfortunately we picked the wrong one.
A bit of advice if you plan to tour the local vineyards – leave the RV at the campground and take a car instead. All of the wineries are located around Keuka Lake and the roads to get to them are narrow, winding, and uphill. Taking our 32-foot Winni with the car in tow was a bit of a white-knuckle experience.
Overall we give Hickory Hill four out of five marshmallows.
