We called ahead and made a reservation here, knowing we’d be arriving very late. We did arrive late and it was closed. I opened the “late arrivals” door by the main office and didn’t find an envelope telling us which spot we should go to. What I did find, however, were warnings posted about their water. That’s never a good sign.

Their late arrival info. said, if you didn’t have a reservation (we did), to pick a site from the map. Well, there wasn’t a map there. As I was scratching my head, a truck pulled up and the gentleman inside said he’d get the owner. A few minutes later, the owner drove up and led us to a full hook-up site. We thanked him and started setting up. Luckily, we had tons of bottled water on board so we didn’t have to worry about ingesting contaminated water.

We left early the next morning so we didn’t really get to explore the park. The next day, Richard noticed a phone call on his cell phone. He called the number back and it was this campground. However, they insisted they’d never called him. Weird.
