This area is pretty remote and we were relieved when we finally found a grocery store near this campground. Ausable Chasm is the oldest natural attraction in the US. Words can�t describe it. Click on their website below to see photos. We also have some photos posted HERE.
The campground itself is within a few minutes walk of the actual chasm entrance, making it the ideal place to stay in this area. The campground was clean and quiet, nothing fancy. The staff was really nice. There was a pool, but we weren�t there long enough to try it out. There�s a game room, too. If we come back this way, we�d stay here again.
