Screeeech!

It’s in the mid-70′s here in Virginia Beach, Virginia today, sunny and with a slight breeze. It couldn’t be a prettier day!

The campground here is having a charity concert and the band that is currently on stage is…really bad!! They’re terribly out of tune, some members’ microphones are louder than others and one them has a voice that keeps cracking. Good thing we’re in our RV and not under the big tent cause I’m not sure the children would be able to keep straight faces during those screeching high notes.

We worked all morning and I’m about to get offline until Monday. I try to take every Sunday off to spend time with the family. I’m going to sit outside and get caught up on some of my sewing tonight. I’m making quilted, felt collages for some loved ones for Christmas.

We’re having my special turkey recipe with gravy (cooked in the crockpot), stuffing, cranberry sauce, green beans and biscuits for dinner tonight. The turkey’s been cooking all day long and the RV smells so good! It’s the easiest turkey recipe in the world, so check it out.

Richard posted some photos today! Click HERE to see them.

Okay, I’m going to turn off my computer and pretend I’m really on vacation for the next 36 hours. Tomorrow, we’ll be on the road, heading further south. Can you guess where our next stop will be?
