We always seem to break something whenever we stop at a relative’s or friend’s house on our travels. Zach broke Grandma’s window once with a baseball. Ali accidentally threw away a kitchen thingie at Gramama’s. Ali got the key stuck in the tractor. Max threw pebbles in a man-made pond (the pump would get clogged). Percy broke his claw and bled all over my sister’s kitchen floor. But, we (okay, it was Richard) did the biggest doozie of ‘em all in Corpus Christi.

Richard, trying not to hit our RV parked in the driveway, drove his dad’s car over the water main hole, busting the water main and flooding the driveway. While we women stayed inside, laughing at the men (who were too proud to call a plumber), all the males in the neighborhood converged at the end of Grandpa’s driveway and remained there until 1:00 a.m trying to help.

You can see Frank helping fix it HERE. And you can see Grandpa, who managed to fix it (temporarily at least) HERE.
