Max Accidentally Catches a Minnow

Wednesday, August 23rd, 2006 @ 10:02 pm | General

Richard and I woke up early this morning to work while the children (including Mason) slept in. We worked most of the day, knowing we’ll be offline for the majority of the next four days doing family things for the memorial service, etc.

After the children got up, Frank took Max fishing. Max was trying to retrieve a lost bobber from the water and accidentally caught a minnow in his net. He was excited.

At 3:00 p.m., we took the kids to the pool again.

We then headed back to the RV and Ali made dinner while Richard and I worked some more. After that, we took the golf cart up to the campground office and got some ice cream cones.

We’re going to get up early and go back to that Smorgasbord for breakfast on our way out of town. We’ll be in Quakerstown tomorrow night and Richard’s dad, step-mommy and sister will be joining us for a cook-out after their flights arrive. Friday is the memorial service and a big family luncheon (I’ll be meeting lots of Richard’s relative who I’ve never met before). On Saturday, I think Richard has us scheduled to visit the Crayola factory. That will be fun.

The weather here today was extremely pleasant. We haven’t needed the air conditioning in a couple of days. Some trees are even starting to get their fall colors.

More tomorrow… :)
