I Want Crawfish!
We’re heading north today, from Galveston, Texas toward Cajun Country (Louisiana). Around dinnertime, I’m going to have to try to find a place that serves crawfish. In Corpus, I had oysters. Yum! While you can find endless plates of clams in Maine (I’m not a big clam fan), finding fresh oysters is downright impossible.
We’re going to take the Bolivar Ferry this morning and take the coastal route. We’re not in a hurry and, the more we travel, the more I like the backroads. Traffic jams and sudden jolts from passing 18-wheelers make for stressful highway driving.
