Dead in the Water
Well, we are stuck in Bangor for the time-being. We’re hoping to get out tomorrow.
I took the RV in last Tuesday and then called Thursday to see if it was done.
“Everything you wanted fixed or looked at is done,” the mechanic said. “Except you have a leaky line in your power steering. You want us to fix that?”
“Yea,” I said. “But can you have it done by Saturday? We want to pack the RV this weekend and leave on Monday.”
“No problem,” he said.
Yea, right.
Well, we had a big storm on Friday and it screwed everything up. People couldn’t get into work and parts couldn’t get shipped. So I call this morning and hopefully it will be done today. Which means we can leave tomorrow at the earliest.
It sucks for a number of reasons, but mostly because it throws off our schedule.
