FROM ANGELA:

I did submit the photo to organization that investigates UFO sightings. They're very backed up so I didn't expect to hear back from them. :)

It does look somewhat like a blimp. Fortunately, there aren't too many blimps in the world, so you could probably easily verify whether or not a blimp was in the area on that day. Another possibility is that the 'ufo' is something attached to the hot air balloon itself. However, then you probably would have been able to pick up the object in other photos. You ought to submit the photo to one of those UFO database websites, for analysis, in any case.

Yah, I'd say it was a blimp. The thing is though, they don't usually go that fast, so I don't see why it would be as blurred as it is.
Hmmm...

Hey Travelers;

What's especially interesting is the shape of your mystery object. Considering perspective, the larger portions has symmetry and then there is a smaller, but similarly shaped , appendange at the rear. The entire thing also seems to have mass.

Who knows? We're much to small to take in all the possibilities in the universe . But it certainly is fun to speculate.

Happy voyaging Hoys .
We''re watchin' you.

It's great seeing our beautiful historic St. Thomas' Episcopal Church (Bath, NY) on your web site. My husband and I eloped there in the chapel January 30, 1976. My husband and two sons were Christened there. I just read where it's the oldest building in Bath, our Steuben County Seat. We were gone from 1976-1993 trying to find greener pastures elsewhere. We spent 17 years trying to work our way back. The grass was greener all along on our side of the fence but we didn't see it. By the way my mother-in-law is a "Maine-e-ak" from Aroostook County. Many Steuben County potato farming families were from there. The land is similar in looks and quality for potato harvesting. I hope you enjoyed your stay and that you will return. There's much to see and do here in the Finger Lakes - Southern Tier - Western NY Region. Come on back!
