Day 15: Oh No…To the Clinic We Go!
Mason coughed quite a bit again on Tuesday night and started running another fever (after 48 hours without one) so we took him to a clinic today. His congestion is not in his lungs but he does have a raging ear infection. He never complained about his ear and he still says it doesn’t hurt at all. When I asked him during dinner if his ear hurt, he said, “Nope, my ear’s just fine!”
He’s on antibiotics now and we picked up a vaporizer. He’s in quite good spirits this evening. He’s watching one of his favorite shows, Max & Ruby, and he’s eating a Popsicle.

Sure doesn’t look sick, does he?
Oh, and our friend who got hit by a car yesterday is doing much better today. We’re praying tomorrow will be a very boring, uneventful, and quite forgettable day!

I read all your posts. Then I paused to thank God I made it safely through all that – way back when.
Winter has been kinda rough here too. I had to close my window a couple of nights, and turn the fan off.
Just teasing! It actually gets down into the 60s at night. Of course the Condo is all concrete, and heat doesn’t build up or disipate very fast.
I lugged my family – wife, 4 daughters from Michigan to Florida in a 14ft. camper in 1967. That was exciting.
Enjoy!
